Located in the eastern part of Nebraska is a hidden gem of sorts called the Bohemian Alps. The name stems from our German + Czech ancestors that settled in this area long ago. The beautiful rolling hills reminded them of their homeland, thus the nickname "Bohemian Alps". There are unique restaurants to eat at, abandoned farmsteads that still hold a unique story and traditions still strongly held... ranging from Czech days in Dwight to fish fry's in Valparaiso.
